I’m looking forward to see you in September; I think you’ll like to be in Denmark.
I think that the two biggest differences between our schools is that at my school we don’t have any dress codes so we’re just wearing whatever we like to. That’s great. Another big variation is that we are not saying Mrs., Miss, Mr., and stuff like that to our teachers, we’re just saying their first name, and when we’re talking in the class we’re not standing up.
My school is located very close to so many things, the bus, downtown, open places and the station. You can get there very easily. In my school the classes is 45 minutes and we got a break after 2 x 45 minutes. We meet at 8 O’clock am almost everyday, that’s a little tough, and at 9:30 am we got the first break in 20 minutes. At 11:20 am we got lunch break is 45 minutes.
Of subjects we have, P.E, social studies, Danish, physics, math, English, history, biology, geography, religion and German.
Some of the traditions we got is; Christmas singing, one week a year the 8- and 9 grades have a project week, we can choose between musical, cooking, art, P.E and multi media, in that week we are having a great time. We also got prom. That is also only for the 8- and 9 grades at that night we have a lot of funny things going on, like fashion show, prom king and queen, and many other things. At the last day at school for the 9 graders it‘s tradition that they make a lot of fun with the other students, make an award show, and taking the other students up and make force do funny stuff like eating an apple in water.
