I’ve been in my new school in USA for a week now. I have very good classmates, because they are very nice to me. I have met a guy in school yesterday, and his name was [NAVN C]. He was also from Denmark. [NAVN C] also plays football, so we can train together. It was a very posh school, we need to wear a suit to school, and that was very different from Denmark. [NAVN C] also thought it was different, but we did it anyway.
When I came in the school for the first time. I was very in shock because no one was sitting on their phones in the break. I asked [NAVN C] why and he said, “They don’t use the cellphones in school, only at home”. I was used to be able to use cellphone in the break. [NAVN C] told me that, he thought it was a bit unusual at first too. It’s also very warm in USA and my school is located in: Orlando, Florida.
The English over in USA is exceptional, I thought that it was going to be a little harder to speak but it is a lot harder. I can feel that the only thing I am scared of in school is “School Shooting”, because that is a very big thing here in USA. There are security guards around the school, so I feel a bit safer when they are around. School shooting wasn’t a big thing in Denmark, because we don’t have that, but you never know if it is going to happen.
