”Everybody calm down, we can make it! The only problem is that we don’t have a phone” one of the men said.3 days after, we were only 6 people left because 2 infants just died of hunger. There was nothing to do but to wait for help from somewhere. We were in the middle of a jungle where you couldn’t see what was north, east, south or west. You would think we would die out here because 6 weeks had passed without anyone finding and rescuing us. The only thing we could do was to just walk and hope for a little village or something like that, so that we could call for help. But the only thing we found was a little area we could settle down in, and fire of some emergency flares and hope for someone saw them. A couple of hours later it started to get dark. Everyone was hungry, but they only ate very little because there wasn’t very much food, and it needed to last a lot of days. After they had eaten it started to get colder and colder. People started trip around and others sat together and tried to keep warm, but it wasn’t warm at all – it was very cold.5 days later something happened that none of the 6 survivors had thought. A man drove around in his jeep, in the jungle and now we were saved. The man called the police and said that there were 6 people in the jungle that couldn’t get home, the man also told where they were, a little time after 2 police cars showed up and rescued everybody. When they came back to the town they couldn’t recognize anything because they had so much more to think of. Some thought of food, some thought of family, and some thought of the media that followed them.2 years after there still were some people who went to visit a psychiatrist, and some were okay. All in all they were okay now.
