Teenageudfordringer: pres, stoffer og personlige valg

Sometimes it’s pretty hard being a teenager, but frequently it depends on the environment. It also depends on what kind of friends you’re hanging around with. Many teenagers start smoking to escape the accentuation or pressure from school. I know many people my age who smoke, and I've witnessed most of them becoming addicted to drugs quite effortlessly than other teens who doesn’t smoke. So I agree with the things we’ve read in “Teens Talking”. But you can’t really blame some teens, in my opinion. Sometimes you live under certain circumstances where everyone else is doing drugs or drinking. Occasionally you would have to do the things they do, just to fit in. Like people say, you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain. Because everyone wants to fit in when they’re a teenager. It’s the worst feeling ever being treated like an outcast. So it indubitably is important who you’re hanging out with, and what your surroundings are like. Overall drugs aren’t good at all and we know that. Girls particularly should be observant when they go to parties and all. Most teenage girls get pregnant by accident, and most of the time they have been affected by some kind of drug. Some girls also get pregnant just to please their boyfriend, or to be like their friends. I think it’s pretty contemptible to have sex with someone just because your friends do it. I think every girl should think wisely before they choose to have sex with someone. Some of my friends say it doesn’t matter who they do it with, because in the end they’re always gonna regret it anyways. But i think that’s wrong. Because even though you regret it, you’ll always remember that person as someone you once loved. Someone who once made you smile, and that’s not something to regret. Some people wait until they get married, but I think that’s like taking things way too far. I really hate it when religion takes over people’s decisions. I think people should determine themselves who they wanna marry, or when they want to have sex. I don’t like the idea of another person’s viewpoint being the judge of my life. I think everyone should be observant and careful of their decisions, but never let other people take control of them.
