I am playing a computer game called Counter-Strike, often abbreviated CS, I have been playing it for very long, and gradually I’m getting quite skilled. The game is a first person shooter game, which was developed by one of the world’s biggest videogame producers, Valve in 2000 (actually a beta version was released in 1999. but the first official full game was in 2000).
How do you play the game? Well it’s actually not very hard to explain. You have 2 teams, the counter-terrorists and the terrorists, so when you open the game you choose either to be at counter-terrorist or a terrorist, when the game begins the two teams spawn in opposite locations of the map, then they got about 3-5 seconds to buy equipment such as weapons and armor. And then the teams use all their tactics, to overcome the other team. You can play several of different games, personally I prefer to play defusing games, that I am going to explain now. I made a little drawing, an example how a defusing map could look like, to make it easier to understand.
And when the game starts, the terrorists has to plant a bomb in one of the bombsites. And the CT’s has to protect the bombsites, and if the bomb is planted, they have to try taking over the bombsites and defuse the bomb. As I already said, there is bunches of different games and its one of the biggest online games in the world.
