The blacks began coming to USA in the 1600 century as slaves owned by the colonial countries like England, Spain, Netherlands and France. These countries had colonies in West Africa and in America where they exported the black people to. The slaves where already slaves or if they not had enough slaves they where capturing black people in the jungle. The conditions on the ship over the Atlantic were very bad because the people lay in lays. The few who survived the trip over the Atlantic was sold as slaves at auctions like when you buy animals at a market. In 1774 the Founding Fathers of the United States refused to allow slaves to come to USA and in 1783 they would have slavery completely abolished but only the North states wanted to stop slavery. In 1804 the last North state stopped slavery and it was New Jersey. In 1830 onwards the North tried to get slavery abolished but only with the result that 11 southern states broke away from the United States in 1861 because they needed slaves the make the work on their plantations and to have someone to look down on. Then came the civil war and the war was over in 1865 and the North won so the slaves was free. But the backs had a problem they didn’t had a education so they cut not have another job so many off them stayed at their plantation. In 1866 the US Constitution was changed so the black people had the right to be an American citizen and be protected of the law. In 1870 the Constitution were changed again so the black people had the right to vote. But the north was losing their interest in the south so in 1877 they pulled their soldiers back home from the south and the south made many laws so the blacks would lose the power to vote by make their vote not current and exclude them from politics. Ku Klux Klan were reformed in 1900 it were much worse for the black because from 1889 to 1919 nearly 3000 blacks were lynched by Klansmen. The segregation was also started and that means that black and white people must nut get mixed because the races don’t can get mixed. World War 2 made a big chance for the blacks because there were many blacks who served in the army and after that they were moving up north the black people. But first in the 1950s when the Civil Rights movement the blacks conditions in America were improved because off their great leader Martin Luther King. One example of their actions were in
