My name is [NAVN A]. I live in Esbjerg in Denmark. I go to school at Spangsbjergskolen. Our school is placed in a neighborhood called Skrænten. From where I live, there’s only about 300 meters or so to school. It’s really nice to live that close since I can walk to school in 15 minutes. Meeting time for my class is 8 O’clock every day. I think that we should have some days where we meet 9:30 AM. In my class we have many subjects: History, Danish, English, Geography, Biology, Social studies, P.E, Physics, German, Mathematics and Christianity. One lesson is 45 minutes. After the first two lessons, we have interval half an hour. After the following two lessons, we have interval again. In the interval break we often go to a supermarket near the school. The supermarket is called “Netto”. We are a healthy developed school which means you can buy healthy food such as sandwiches, cheese bums and juice in the school café. We have a library where you can borrow a book; you just have to put it back before it gets too old. We don’t have a football field, but we have course we call “Multi-Course” since you can play both football and basketball. We do have a tradition when it snows. All the high graders “wash” and throws snowballs at the lower graders. We have a lot of rules in the school: Only throw snowballs behind the “P-bygning”, don’t run up and down the halls, only 7+ graders can walk outside the school, don’t eat and drink in the computer lab etc. In our class we get a lot of homework to do. Past a week we can get 10-15 different kinds of homework. Of course, I don’t always make them since I often forget them. The behavior in the school is nice and I have a lot of good friends here. If I could decide some things to be changed, I probably would’ve replaced our wood-chairs with some office-chairs. I would also change our swimming pool by making it bigger and build a diving board. The showers in our changing room are kind of disgusting and not really tempting. Our sports centre is too small and the goals are just some boards seamed to the wall. But the school in general is good, and we have some good teachers. And remember, you don’t have to wear a school uniform. I’m excited to show you around. See you in September!
