Handball is a contact sport, with 7 players in play at a time on each team (consist of two teams) and then max 6 players on the bench, in the conclusion of 13 players totally. There are 6 players in the field and 1 in the goal. This sport is about throwing the ball, which is a round ball at 54-56 cm and weight 325-375 g, in the opponent´s goal and the team who has the fewest points/goals will lose the game. The handball field is 20x40 m with a goal which is 3x2 m at each end.

Everybody can play handball. Almost in every city you can find a club. There is no age to play, but there are deferent rows. You can for example play on U16 which means that you must be under 16 years and if you are 14 years old you must play on U14. But if you are older than U23 (under 23 or 23 years) you have to play with the senior or oldies. The rows are: U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U23, senior and oldies.

The goalkeeper’s job is to protect the goal and the outfield players must keep the defense so it isn’t easy to score. The goalkeeper is the only player on the field who may touch the ball with their feet, but if some of the other players do it, does the other team get the ball. There is 1 judge in the game and he/she decides how the game is going to be judge.
