I am writing you this letter because we are a newly formed organisation and we desperately need money. Our organisation is called We Help to Educate Now, shortened to WHEN, and the primary goal is to build more schools in countries like Congo Ethiopia and other development countries. We have heard that you are coming to Denmark to play at Roskilde Festival and at Skanderborg Festival, in that occasion we really hoped that you could help us by performing a charity concert. The charity concert is planned to be on Friday the week after Roskilde Festival. It will be a full day concert with about 6 bands during the day and then we hoped that you could be the big name finishing the Show. All the money that the concerts bring in will go directly to our education program. Everybody who is working on this event are volunteers so we have very few expenses. This means that we can give a bigger contribution to the construction of schools and education in the countries that we work in. The concert will be held on some football fields in Brøndby about 15 minutes from Copenhagen. The area we have rented will hold up to 45.000 people and we hope that with your help the tickets will be completely sold out. We have a stage crew who are ready to set up whatever you ask for, and we also have a full crew of light and sound technicians so that nothing will go wrong. The security will of course be high especially around the performers, and you will be in an area which cannot be accessed from the viewers’ area. As I mentioned before we really hope that you will help us raise money for our project. It will definitely be hard to get sold out without a big name as yours on the set list.
