I would like to write about the murder of the 3 civil rights workers, Andrew Goodman, James Chaney and Michael Schwerner, and how racism held, a whole community of black people as prisoners in their own town. I will write a bit about hanging and cross burning, Ku Klux Klan and the outcome of the 2 trials I know about, the first in 1967 and the second in 2005.
I have chosen this subject because it’s touching me, all the way in to my heart.
Martin Luther King jr.
