The movie is about racism. The whole point with the movie is to illustrate how strange people can be, about things there isn’t like them. We have always been scared for things/people there isn´t like our self. The reason of this behaviour is, that we want things as they should be, and not how they can be. A good example is the clown. We like clowns; they are funny and make us happy. But if the clowns have sharp teethes, and look angry, then we´re are going scared. The things we don´t like, are reflections in our minds.

In the beginning of the movie, tree men are killed. Two of the men were white and one was black. All of them were students from the north states. They were driving cross country, when some cars follow them. The cars there follow, were actuarially members of the K.K.K, they tuned there´s police lights on. The students stopped the car. The members came, and the shout all of them. The students and the Negro were killed because they were friends. The K.K.K meant that people should mix their friendship up in one colour.

Black and black, white and white.

Two men, one a FBI guy (Alan Ward), the other a policeman (Mr. Anderson), are sent down to the south states, to investigate the case about the missing students. The two guys lived in the north states. The cop had ones lived in one of the south states. They came to this little village where nearly all people hate Negros. And the police force was not a big help, because they all were members of the K.K.K.
