It start’s in South Africa, in a very poor town. The black people get attacked by the army and they also destroy their poor town. The main character is named Donald Woods 41 years old and he’s a journalist. Steve Biko is the other main character and he fights for the black rights.
Donald comes to see Steve. Steve and his wife got their own place, where black people can meet and do stuff together.
Steve takes Donald with him to see his clinic for black people. At the place they also make their own food. Steve and the other black people tell Donald how bad it is to be black. Daniel and his friend go to see ‘Black Football’. As they are there, Steve makes a speech. The police find Steve and takes him to the police station, because of his speech. The police makes Steve angry and he hits a police officer. Steve goes to the charge and says his opinion.
Most of the girls in the black lands are maids and there are a lot of fights.
Steve’s father died and then he was sent to a army school.
Steve Biko: He’s a black man which fights for he’s pride. He wants to let the black people have their freedom.
