Hello Olivia, I’m going to tell you about festivals in Denmark.
If you go on a Danish street and ask any teenager, what you must have to bring to a festival.
The will always say alcohol! And you don’t need anything more. In Denmark we drink a lot of alcohol you definitely have heard about how much teenager drinks in Denmark.
BEWARN! There is a lot of drugs on a festival, so never take free drinks from strangers, and don’t piss people off because when maybe you will get in a fight, and maybe get beaten up.
On most of the festivals in Denmark there is a camping space right next to the place (is where all the bands play music) and you can choose to sleep there, but remember it’s if it rains it’s not nice to be there because it’s muddy, dirty and disgusting. And the toilets are so small it’s hard to sit there, and on some festivals there is not shower so you can get clean.
There are some Danish international bands you may know? Kashmir, Mew, D:A:D and Carpark north if it’s ringing a bell, most of the Danish international bands plays rock. We don’t have international Pop, R&B, and Rap artists I don’t know why, maybe because they all want to sing Danish.
