Thanks for your letter I think it’s very cool that you are that interested in white water rafting, especially because you’re a girl, you don’t see that very often. And actually Lizzie I do have tried it, once I was in the states I tried one raft at the lowest level of “wildness”.
I also have a hobby to tell you about, I really think it’s funny and very interesting. I play football. I’ve done it for 9 years now, and it’s just getting better and better. We have just started to play football both outside and inside a gym. Our tournament outside stopped two weeks ago, and we actually did very well, we ended up as number two in our league table, after losing the first 3 games, so I’m very pleased with that.
In shortly a month our tournament in inside football is about to start, and last year we won the tournament so I have great expectations to this year as well. You might know when you’re playing outside football you’re 11 men on the field which is nearly 360 feet * 230 feet, but when you’re playing inside football you’re only 4 men on the field which is 130 feet * 65 feet. So of course is it much more intense to play inside than outside football. I personally think that inside football is great, but I wouldn’t pick it over outside football because it just is so more, everything about football is concentrated at outside football, all the press, all the fans, all the “big” players, all the great stadiums etc. And also if I had to pick between inside or outside football I would pick outside, because it’s just too fun, said in one word.
