Et brev om miljøproblemer og klimaforandringer

When you read this letter, I’m long gone. I'm writing this letter to tell you about the environmental issues that we are having in the 20 first century. We are having many issues, but I hope that we are doing enough to stop them before your time. The biggest problem is the greenhouse effect, which means that the earth is like a room of glass where the sun is shining in and the heat can’t get out. The problem with it is that the ice on the North Pole is melting and the freshwater flows down to the saltwater and when it mixes it costs a lot of fish die and with so much water it will cause floods and that means that there won’t be much land back in the future. So now we are trying to cut down on CO² by using neutral power like wind, sun light, wawe power and earth power. You are probably thinking, what neutral power has to do with the greenhouse effect. The reason why we have the greenhouse effect is because we use for example too much oil and aluminum. If we can cut down on that, we may be able to stop the development of the greenhouse effect. If not I would like to show you a photo of a polar bear. It is one of the most endangered animals in 2015 because of the greenhouse effect. The polar bear can only live where there is very cold and where there is snow. So as the heat goes up the polar bears start to die. It is such a sad story and that was actually the reason that I became an environmental activist in Greenpeace. Which is a group of people that are interested in doing what they mean is best for the environment. I have been an activist in 5 year now and it is the greatest rush, when you demonstrate and are fighting for something you believe in and I would not trade it for anything else in the world. I hope that this letter has told you about what it is that humans is destroying and what it is that your great great grand mom is fighting for. So I hope you feel like you know me better now and that you are closer to me although I don’t live anymore. Just remember that you can make a difference to make the world a better and a more environmental friendly place.
