Why did Leonardo DiCaprio think he might not be the right person to be the UN’s Messenger of Peace? Do you think he is the right person?

Leonardo DiCaprio think that he might be the wrong person to be the UN’s Messenger of Peace because he is very pessimistic about the future and does not believe that humanity will change their behaviour in time. I personally do not think that he is the right messenger of peace because he has a huge consumption and therefor he simply cannot be a role model.

Briefly describe key pieces of evidence presented in the film that support the fact that climate change is real.

The fact that nine metres of ice has melted throughout the years in Greenland is a key piece of evidence presented in the film that supported the fact that climate change is real. Next to that coral reefs are dying and more and more animal species are becoming endangered such as narwhales and orangutans. The air is full of smoke in Sumatra and there has been flooding on days with sunshine and islands are disappearing.
