A bully is a person who teases another classmate so much that it is bullying and some time it also can include violence. Bullies can be very tough to a person but they can also bully in other ways like calling a person nasty and ugly names. They can also leave persons out of activities and games. It's normal that there is bullies at a school. But bullying doesn't just happen in schools. Being heavily criticized for your work or the way you do your job, name calling and teasing are all forms of bullying and can be difficult to deal with. There are many who are bullies even they don't know it. Many people don't know that they are bullies because they just think it is for fun. But it isn't fun to the person who is being teased. It can take place at a school, on the internet or also at the streets. There has been a lot of bullying on the internet fx. on facebook and on some chatrooms. It is very different from school to school about how many bullies there are. And also how they bully. For some bullies it starts at home because they have some problems and they don't know how to tackle them so they start teasing someone to feel better about themselves. It can also be that the bully is insecure about how he or she looks and then they try to make other people insecure so they can feel better about how they look. Bullying is not for fun. It can have big consequences for the one who ho been bullied. The one ho has been bullied can maybe feel so bad that they try to commit suicide. You can deal with bullies if you go to a teacher or your parents. The best way to stop is to go over to the bully and say that they have to stop bullying you and other people. There are also some phone lines where you can call for free and talk whit someone about your problems and you can of cause be anonymous.
