The essay is about British youth and their problems in the society. What makes them behave badly and why they appear to be so different from teenagers in other countries. What is the big consequence about drinking and how can the government stop crime? Finally I will end up with a conclusion.
’’Staying home in the face of danger isn’t the British way.’’ It is true that the British youth have been invincible, but what makes the present situation of British young behave so badly? Britain is developed a ‘get rich or die trying’ culture. With other words - young people achieve wealth and power on a wrong way.
Fast cars, gold dollar sign around their neck and oversized rings are popular among the young. But the lifestyle has a dull back where young people end up in crime. It is especially young men from poor backgrounds who feel they do not have much to lose, ends up in crime. They choose the wrong future instead of getting an education and work.
What makes British teenagers appear to be different from teenagers in other countries? It may be because they think and act differently. Not that they cannot work with other people in other countries but a large part of youth have a big tendency to conform to ideals. You get the feeling that they are afraid to be different from the others. And they want to avoid being an outsider. Drinking makes them uncontrollable. The present youth in Britain are one of the heaviest drinkers in Europe and they have been unmanageable in terms of behavior, drinking and sex.
