Selvrealisering, valgfrihed og ytringsfrihed udgør alle en del af senmodernitetens velfærdssamfund. Alligevel stiger behovet for anerkendelse, der meldes om flere sygemeldte med et urealistisk højt stressniveau og depression. Hvad er overflade og hvad er realitet? Er vi styret af kulturelle idealer eller biologiske drifter? Er idealet om kærlighed i den senmoderne kultur et narcissistisk projekt?

Abstract:

With this project, I am carrying a narcissistic move. The content in project includes stylish words and phrases that might occur unrecognizable to many. Narcissism, collusion, projection, containment; all words of which may seem completely unintelligible, but still plays a part in their everyday life. That is how the current culture reveals itself in the current postmodern society: Most usually marked by the incomprehensive trends and connections that rarely makes sense.Self-realization, freedom of choice and freedom of expression are all a part of the postmodern welfare society. Still, there is a rising need to get recognition from the surroundings; reports claim that an increasing number of people are lying sick with unrealistic stress-levels and depressions.
