Summary: Florence Scala's American dream

The story is about a girl named Florence Scala. She is a young girl who wants to be a journalist when she finishes High School. She lives in a poor neighborhood where social networks do not really exist. Her parents work as tailors, they work very hard and almost around the clock. Her dad did pretty much everything custom work, and then her mother took care of repairs and similar things, like cleaning up, showing up early.The family lived in the shop. The private rooms were in the other end of the house.

She explains that their neighborhood was a mess, but same time it was a wonder. The most beautiful place on earth sometimes. The family was very afraid of life for neighboring store has always been a society of violence and social fight. Her father has always been somewhat of a loner.
