Summary of F. Scott Fitzgerald's 'The Great Gatsby'

The story is about a main character named Nick Carraway, who moves to a wealthy neighbourhood in New York, called “West Egg”, next to him lives a notoriously rich man, that goes by the name Mr. Gatsby, he is very mysterious, and nobody really knows who he is, or what his background is, so therefore Nick Carraway becomes curious about Mr. Gatsby.

Mr. Gatsby is also known for having some very big parties, were all the famous and wealthy people attend, Nick also likes to go to these parties, but someday, he receives a personal invite from Mr. Gatsby, and nobody believes that its Mr. Gatsby himself, who has written it, because he’s never done that to anybody before.

Eventually, Mr. Gatsby surprisingly shows himself to Nick, during the party, where Mr. Gatsby personally invited Nick. After their first meeting, they start to become friends, and Nick is starting to gain a friendship with Mr. Gatsby. Hi, my hi my hi my hi

Because Mr. Gatsby is considered very mysterious, there is a lot of rumours and talk around him, some people even think that he is a spy from Russia, or is a hitman working for the government.

As Nick becomes friends with Mr. Gatsby, Mr. Gatsby denies the rumours about him, and says to Nick, that he was born in San Francisco, and grew up there as well, born in a very wealthy family, it seems like he has always been a part of the upper class in the United States of America, he is very nice to Nick, and has good manners and are very polite.
