Rachel and her mother had just moved to a new town. Rachel was furious. She didn’t wanted to move away from her friends, and start on a new school. She already missed her friends. She couldn’t stand it. She had to start on the new school tomorrow. Her best friend, Lena had said she would do all she could, to help her through the first school day.

Rachel woke too early. She couldn’t sleep anymore, because she was too nervous. She went downstairs to make some breakfast, but saw that her mother was awake already. Her mother said, that she wanted a serious talk with her. She told her that her job was very important right now, and she wouldn’t be home very much, until she had got hang of it. So Rachel would take control at home, and fix all the important things. Rachel became mad, and said that it was not her problem. It was hard enough to start in a new school. But her mother didn’t care, and said she was too immature. So Rachel’s mother went to work and let Rachel had the whole responsibility. Rachel was in shock. She couldn’t believe that her mother just had left. She needed to talk with someone, there understood her, so she called Lena. But she didn’t pick up the phone. Maybe it was a little too early in the morning. So Rachel sent a message to Lena, which said that she missed her, and she should call as soon as possible. Then she ate her breakfast, and made herself ready for school. Then she left, and started the first day, in her new life.
