A review of the movie “Cloudy with a chance of meatballs”

Genre: Animation, Family, Comedy
Runtime: 90 minutes
Review: Flint Lockwood wanted to be a genius ever since he was a child, but everything he invented was useless. Flint Lockwood’s mother always supported him, but when she dies, Flint is left alone with his father.
Flint lived in a small town called Swallow Falls. The town was known for its sardines, but when the world realizes that sardines are super gross, no one needed Swallow Falls anymore.
Flint Lockwood’s latest invention was a machine that turns water into food, but when he was about to get power from the local power-station, something went wrong, and the machine ended up in the atmosphere. That results in food falling from the sky. The size of the food enlarges, and the town was now in danger of getting destroyed. Flint and his friends tried to stop the machine - but will they succeed..?
In the begging of the movie you get a glimpse of Flint’s childhood, and through the whole movie you follow Flint and his life. A lot of supernatural things happen, and the dialog is good and funny. The movie has got a lot of elements such as love, action and comedy. The movie is one of the best animation comedy movies I have ever seen. I give it 5 stars!
