An early morning, March 11th was Japan hit by a powerfull earthquake. The richer scale showed that the size of the earthqueake was about 8,9. It was a very powerful earthquake, as give the country many big problems. It activated a tsunami, and the wave was over 8 meters high. The wave destroyed many buildings, cars and kill the people. It was the most powerfull earthquake in Japan, and one of the five most powerfull earthquake ever in the world. The earthquake takes only 6 minutes. The Japanese police has comfirmed 15.037 deaths, 5.282 injured and 9,487 people was away. They say, that 190,000 buildings were destroyed or damaged by the quake and tsunami. Of those, 45,700 were destroyed. Around 4.4 million houses in northeastern Japan were left without electricity and 1.5 million without water. The earthquake and tsunami created 25 million tons of rubble and debris in Japan. "In the 65 years after the end of World War II, this is the toughest and the most difficult crisis for Japan." said Japanese minister, Naoto Kan. The overall cost could over $300 billion, and making it the most expensive natural disaster on record. The earthquake moved Japan 2,4 meters east. All the poeple in Japan, and in the world was choked. Many people cried, but there was nothing to do. Many countries helped with money, medisines and tool to repair the buildinigs, and to repair everything that was smashed. Now the country is not so hard hit by it. The support from the other countries in the world, had helped Japan much.
