Stilistisk analyse af emails mellem Lisk og Messenger

In the beginning Ludmila Lisk’s emails are very friendly and she describes how important it is for her to come to the conference that Professor Messenger is hosting. She is trying to get a confirmation so that she can explain her research about ‘modeling learning behaviors in autonomous agents’. She is really obsessed by getting that confirmation but Professor Messenger won’t let her so she gets more threatening and unpleasant as the conversation develops. In the last email she is threatening the Professor by telling about their “nice evening in Prague” to his wife and his colleagues over the internet. She wants to reveal his affair if he isn’t going to give her the confirmation she needs. Her emails are very pushing and she is very eager to get to Gloucester which the letters is revealing. She will not take no for an answer and is always reminding him about that affair they had in Prague. The tones in her emails are very angry and negative in the last emails. Professor Messenger’s first email is straightforward, he is not trying to wrap up the words but at the same time he is really helpful. He is suggesting her to go to the conference in Florida or write a paragraph and he is willing to send her some information so she can apply in proper time. His emails are very formal and friendly and he is sorry that he can’t help her. His emails are brief in proportion to Ludmila’s emails.
