The story is about the boy Tommy Britten, who lives in a small town called Shipton, with his mother Dolly Britten and his father Lenny Britten. The only thing tommy really cares about except his family, is soccer. All he wants to know about is soccer, and he knows everything there is to know. Tommy’s father is also a Faithfull supporter of the home town team.
One day Tommy’s father goes to a match against the Shipton United’s rival team, London city. The Shipton united are – against all odds about to win. But the game is ended doing the last five minutes, because of the London City fans, but the most of them aren’t just regular fans, they are violent, skinhead hooligans who just want to fight. The city hooligans are climbing the united fence and tommy’s father are getting beaten down in the volume of brutal fans, and are hurt very badly. During the six months of tommy’s father’s coma, tommy gets a whole new way of seeing life. His wanting of revenge on the city fans turns Tommy in to a brutal skinhead himself. He starts his own gang of skinhead soccer fanatics and gets a pretty ‘good’ reputation in the whole country.
