What is success?

To laugh often and much;

To win the respect of intelligent people

and the affection of children;

To earn the appreciation of honest critics

and endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty;

To find the best in other;

To leave the world a bit better,

whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or

a redeemed social condition;

To know even one life has breathed easier

Because you have lived;

This is to have succeeded.

The poem:

The poem is about success, not the success from money or fame, but from love, honesty, and the fact that you can trust you nearest. To know that one life has breathed easier because you have lived. To know, that you have made a difference. To know that you had someone you really trust. That is too had succeeded.

I think that the poem describe success very well. I especially agree with: to appreciate beauty; we humans do not put enough appreciated the beauty in the world. I think we should take and appreciate the beauty, for it is here perhaps not next year. Maybe we are dead cause the global warming, or another thing. But the point is that we need to enjoy all the good things in our life. If we could stop the global warming, see that would be a real success.
