Resumé af den engelske bog : Skiing Death.Johnny and his best friend Harry was on skiing holiday in Norway, they where standing on mountain enjoying the beautiful view. All alone. And they where happy.But suddenly the sun disappeared behind the cloudes, it was getting windy, really windy. They couldn’t find home. “A storm is coming!” Harry shouted. They didn’t know where they were… They saw a little cabin standing all alone. With lights in there. Somebody must be in that cabin. Johnny and Harry decided to knock on the door. The boys needed to open the door by themselves. A man was sitting with the back to them saying “Well, we’ve company” with a hoarse laughter. “Welcome.”The man had a hood over his head and inside the hood there was a skull. The man was a skeleton! “Take a card” he said. Harry got the badest card and lost. “You’ll be our first meal!” the skeleton shouted. He started to eat him, and Harry screamed like mad!“Wake up, Johnny”. It was all a dream. Johnny was on the way on the holiday with his best friends Harry and Margaret and her parents. The trip was well, but Johnny couldn’t stop thinking of his strange dream. They goed skiing, and it was all great but the real life started more and more to look like Johnny’s dream! The weather became really bad and Johnny and Harry entered a cabin. In there two guys was hanging out. Johnny was really scared off that this would go and be like in his dream, but no. None of them was skeleton’s. Luckyli. It was to boys with the names Greg and Stephen. They gave beverages, they were pretty cool. And asked if they wanted to play cards. “That’s a good idea,” Harry said. “That’ll take our minds off things. Let’s have some fun.” But they only had 4 cards. They ate the others!The one who gets the lowest card is the loser. Simply. But what do you lose? They asked. The Game! Greg and Stephen said with a suspicious voice. What do you exactly lose? Johnny and Harry asked. “The one who lose…We’ll eat him. Greg said in a low voice. EAT!? They were frightened. They could not run away because the storm just got worse. We had to play the cards with the risk of our lifes.The one to lose three times has lost everything. Good luck.Greg must have cheated he didn’t lose once. Harry and Johnny both lost 2 times and Stephen lost three times. He was the loser. Greg started to sharpening a knife while whistling. Stephen was sentenced to death. Harry and Johnny needed to help him.Greg had gone mad! He wanted them too hold Stephen when he is killing him. But they won’t. He goed over to Johnny with the knife and they ran to another room. But Greg just killed him by him self and after some hours they could hear and smell that Stephen was frying meat. Johnny falled asleep and dreamed that Greg was killing him. But Harry woke him up after hearing a snow scooter outside, they thought it was Greg and somebody banked on the door, and they try to run but it was an rescuer that was looking for them. Greg was dead and became a skeleton and they found a skeleton in the snow too which must have been Stephen.It was all over now but Harry and Johnny could not sleep.- Jakub Wolk.
