Martin was admitted to the hospital, after the car accident. He was lying on the bed, while he saw the injuries all over his body. However, he wondered why he hasn’t seen his face yet.
He wanted to see it; therefore he asked the nurse to handle him a mirror.
The moment he saw his face, he was convinced that what was happening was real. It was not a nightmare.
Suddenly he got a shock, when he saw himself. His eyes were red, his skin was burn and all his face changed shape.
He felt so scared by what he saw. I was like he could not believe it. Many different thoughts came into his mind. He even asked himself, if that was really him.
He had mixed feelings: fear, desperation and anger. In his mind he was not accepting it, why me? He thought.
He started to cry because, what happened cannot be change. There was nothing he could do to fix it.
He knew now that this was something; he had to live with the rest of his life. He cried for his parents and other people, who meant something to him.
Probably he was thinking and asking himself: Will they still love and like me as they did before the accident? It is just his appearance that has changed, not his personality. Will they accept me with my burn face?
