I think a part-time job is good for school children and teenagers, because they get some money, and they will be more prepared and learn more about the adult life. I think that teenagers often don’t know what it implies to have a work and earn some money. They just think that it is not so hard, and the parents not always got enough to give their children.
Often when tennagers are getting older, there is so many things they want, but can’t buy, because their parents think it is to expensive. But if you got a part-time job you can buy it on your own, and there is no one refuses you, but they can give you some advice. Maybe they think that you should save the money until you are going to study, but in the end it is your choice.
But on the other side, it also can be to much. Because I got a friend and she got a part-time job. She dosen’t work so often, but sometimes she works to half past elleven in the evening in the weekdays, and I think that is to late for a girl, which must be at school eight o’clock the next morning. She don’t get the sleep she needs, because she isn’t home before the clock almost is twelve o’clock, and then she must brush her theeth and all that we do before we go to sleep. And then the clock almost is half past twelve.
