Tommy lives in the town called Shipton, with his mother and father. The small town has a local football team called Shipton United which both Tommy, his father Lenny and the rest of the town support and love. The Shipton United wins an important football match against London City. And the team was now going to play against City again, but this time in London.
Tommy didn’t get his mothers permission to go with his father to the football match in London, because there always are fights when London City plays.
Tommy’s father Lenny gets beaten up by hooligans from London city and he barely survives and is in the hospital for a very long time.
Meanwhile Tommy has become a skinhead, because he wants to take revenge for what happened to his father. He starts his own gang and meats all the wrong sorts of people. But in the end Tommy makes the right decisions and chooses not to be a skinhead and he moves to Australia, where his aunt lives.
