'Green Street Hooligans' filmanalyse

In the start of the movie Matt Buckner gets kicked out of Harvard University where he study history to his career as a journalist , because the teachers found drugs in his closet, but it wasn’t his drugs. His roommate Jeremy Van Holden had kept them in his closet the whole time. Jeremy pays Matt 10.000 dollars to take his punishment, and not tell the teachers and the police. Matt couldn’t catch his father, so he travels to London to live with his sister Shannon Dunham. She and her husband Steve Dunham have a son called Ben. Steve’s brother Pete Dunham meets Matt at Shannon and Steve’s home. Pete been asked to take Matt to a football match (soccer), but instead he’s taken him to a bar to meet his friends. They drink some beers and then they takes to the match. At the game do Buvver visit the others football team’s hooligans, and provoke them, because he calls them “fuckers”. Matt decides to go home to Shannon and Steve, but he gets mugged, and the muggers want to know what GSE is. To his luck do Pete and his hooligan team show up to help him, but Pete say that no one leaves the fight between them and the other hooligans, and then Matt is in his first fight. Pete’s team wins the fight, and Matt takes to Pete’s apartment and wake up the next morning. After brunch Matt asks what GSE is. Pete shushes on him, and later tells him that it stands for Green Street Elite which is a firm, like an organisation of football fans in Europe, who wants to fight. In the town Millwall in England, there’s a firm too, for Millwall’s team, where Tommy Hatcher is the chef.
