Are whites and blacks equal in USA

Engelsk stil: Are blacks and whites at last equal in the USA? After many years of the blacks being slaves it has change a lot. They can sit in the same room without a sign that says "only white people" and they have a black president. Back in the 1800 century, black people didn't have any rights and it was especially in the south states. They are still a lot of racis in the south states but not as many as back then. There have been many discussions about black and white people. Are they equal, are they not? If you ask a (example a man in the south states, old and racisme) he would say "Niggers are never going to be like us, they are dirt and they don't have any right to be in this land with us". I think that is stupid apinion , it's not about the color and what if you were black? would you let them treat you like you treat them. In a movie called Mississippi burning you can see how much racisme their was back then. If you didn't do as you were told you were gonna get killed and no one had the courage to stand up fore themself, because they were afraid. Then the civil war came and it change a little. One upon a time their was a man called Martin Luther King. He was black and wanted to be president of the united states. He was so close to be president but someone shout him because he was black. It was a white man who didn't like "niggers". He seems even he was higher up in the hierarchy only because Martin L. King was black. Today Martin L. King is known fore his speech. He started out by saying that he had a dream. That became one of the most popular phrases. He said "I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. He had a point in his speech and it was about freedom fore black people. Conclution: I don't think white and black people are equal in USA. Their will aways be some who looks down on blacks or blacks looking down at white people. Its about the color and it will always be that way. Of course it have change since the slaves but inside some persons their will always see a black. Am not a racist but some don't get jobs because of their color and some bullied of that reason. Their will always be some people that don't agree that its okay to have a black president and that is one of the examples that does that we are not equals.
