The sport soccer is a team sport. It’s also called football. But football is another sport. It’s a sport from USA and it has nothing to do with soccer.
The rules
There are two teams on the field in a soccer game, and there are 11 players on each team. There’s a goal in each end of the field. And there’s a ball. The meaning of the game is to get the ball into the opponent’s goal, only using your feet. The team who’s getting the ball into the opponent’s goal the most times, is the winner of the game. The game lasts 90 minutes. The 90 minutes are shared in two halves. 45 minutes in each half. After the first half there’s a break in 15 minutes. The break is used for the coach to talk tactic with the players or for the players to relax.
The judges
There’s a head judge and some line judges. The head judge’s job is to make the players play fair. And to decide if the offence was too hard or if it was okay. If it was too hard, he chooses to blow in his flue and say freekick or penalty.
The line judge’s job is to tell if the ball was out from the field. And if it was the team, that the player who touched it as the last, will get the ball. And then there’s a throw in.
