My trip to India with CouchSurfing I tried CouchSurfing this month and I must say that it is one of the best experiences I have ever had. I went to India which is in South Asia. I had been told that it was a really beautiful country and that there were so many attractions that I needed to see. Therefore, I was really looking forward to getting there.
I actually got CouchSurfing recommended by one of my good friends. She told me that she traveled to Greenland last year and that she had had an awesome trip. It sounded so interesting and fun, so I thought: Why not give it a try. The idea of staying with a family instead of at a hotel also sounded really appealing to me. I like getting to know people, so it was just the perfect fit for me.
When I first stood outside the place, I was staying I was filled with excitement. The house was so big and white that it kind of reminded me of a palace. The windows were shaped like circles and even the door was shaped roundly. It was so beautiful. The family met me with a lot of smiles and hugs, and I instantly felt welcome. Inside the house, the round theme kept going. Rounded tables, chairs, couches and so on. It was the most interesting house I had ever seen.
