When I think of The Second World War, I obviously think of it from the Americans point of perspective, not the Germans, the reason being all the movies created from the Americas point of view. When I think of The Second World War, I think The Allies and The Axis, who fought against each other. The war was the most widespread war in history, and the war with the most casualties in human history, it’s believed to be from 50 million to 73 million fatalities

The Axis’s advanced stopped in 1942, when Japan lost a series of naval battles, and the European Axis troopers was defeated in the North Africa and Stalingrad. The war in Europe ended with the capture of Berlin by Soviet and Polish troops and the German unconditional surrender on 8 May 1945. Following the Potsdam declaration, which is if the Japanese didn’t surrender, they would face total and utter destruction, the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the Soviet declaring war on Japan and invading Manchuria, Japan surrendered, ending the war in Asia and assuring the total victory of the Allies over the Axis. World War II changed the politics and social structure of the world, and the United States and The Soviet Union emerged as rival superpowers.
