When I think of the word war, I almost go in panic. I think of whether it ever will hit me or others of my loved ones. Even though a long time ago there has lived a war inside me. The war that nobody has got an end on yet. The war that not only has hit my family but a whole population. The war in Iraq has existed for over 30 years now. To be forced to be transferred from your home is against the human rights. And the thought about knowing that half of your family is dead can chase you the rest of your life.
Nobody can think of war and at the same time avoid pictures of dead bodies, crying children, hurted young people, screaming mothers, who look for their loved ones without hope and last but not least burnt down houses. A country that is lit in thousands of flames.
To live in your own country, and at the same time don’t feel secure, is an emotion we rather would avoid. Because if you don’t feel security in your own country, where should you
otherwise find it?
The causes of war
The causes of war may be many, for instance: wish for extending the country, gain access to raw materials or historical national conflicts. There are other causes of going in war, but these examples are the typical ones. The ones we hear about in the media.
