The causes of war may be many, example: wish for extending the country, gain access to raw materials or historical national conflicts. There are other causes of going in war, but these examples are the typical ones. The ones we hear about in the media.

The loss of the First World War had also a great influence. After First World War (1914-18) Germany had to check along to very hard peace terms. Germany had to take the whole responsibility for the war among other things. Germany had to pay for reparations. Suddenly a new party was formed, NSDAP. The party NSDAP would abolish the democracy and substitute for a strong state power instead. The party was anti-Jewish.
In 1921 Adolf Hitler became NSDAP's first man. He changed the party’s organization. The members of the party didn’t have influence in the policy of the party anymore.
Second World War started like a conflict between a few countries - in Europe Germany, Great Britain, Poland and France, in Asia Japan and China - but developed soon into a war between two large alliances, the axis powers on the one hand and the Allies on the other.
