Abstract:

This study contains information about the use of GMO (genetic modified organism) and investigates which pros and cons the use of GMO can give. It includes the different views and opinions the industry, politicians, interest groups and citizens' think about GMO. The biggest problem in terms of discussing the use of genetic modified organism is that people aren’t sure about the effect it may give in the future. That’s why most of the politicians, interest groups and etc. are skeptical about it. The main topic in this study is to cross the 2 subjects, biotechnology and social study and communicate the assignment from both views.
