Hadsten, Denmark.24th September.Dear Johnson family,it was very nice to hear from you Johnsons, I was really looking forward to visiting your family in California. First of all, my name is [NAVN A] and I am 14 years old, and I come from Denmark in a little town which is called Hadsten, I have two siblings and four half-siblings, and of course parents, but my parents are divorced, so I live one week of each. In my spare time make a lot of sports, both handball and football, I’m a lot whit my friends, and I shop a lot, I just love to shop! The reason why I want to go to California is that I have heard so much about it. All my friends talks about it, my family talks about it and I watch something about it on TV every day. I want to find some answers over there. Is it more fun to live in the United States? How do they live? What do they like? Are they like us? Maybe it will make me see life in a different way. I want to see and feel California, not just behind a TV. When people say to me that they have been in USA, I always get jealous, but now it is my time, and it is going to be an amazing trip. I hope that we can do some funny stuff together - maybe you can show me your favorite things in your country? Anyway I’m always ready to do things with you and help you. One day we might be able to see Death Valley. I have read about it and I think it sounds exiting. I hope to meet a lot of new friends in California. I have plans to go to high school in California next summer, and this trip will be a good way for me to see about I like California or not. I’ll bring my camera with me and I think I will write a kind of dairy about the trip, so I can have a good memory about it. I’m looking so much forward to have a nice time in California with you.
