Finally I came to Queenstown and I was looking forward to the trip and I couldn’t wait to start the long but certainly an amazing trip. My plans was to hike a long part on the first day, I had decided to reach all the way to Routeburn which was a small town 45 kilometers from Queenstown. Once In a While I had to work really hard to get over the enormous mountains, but the sun was shining and I couldn’t wish for better weather. I took a break when I was a couple of kilometers over the halfway, to get some to eat and drink. Suddenly I looked to my left and there was a little baby bear, in the start I got a huge shock and was ready to take my stuff and run away as fast as I could. But then I realized that the bear wasn’t dangerous, and it just want some food. I began to throw some bread and some meat and in the end it was so close to me I could feed the bear from my hands, it was truly amazing. Later at the day I finally came to Routeburn, it was beautiful but a very old town. I found a nice little Bed and Breakfast hotel where I could stay over the night. I got in my bed with a smile and I was looking forward to the next few days, I felt it only could be a good trip.
