Drug addicts, drug manufactures, police, counsellors, and Experts in the field of drug abuse, drug expanding, and rehabilitation, are introduced, to get an aspect from all perspectives in the infamous meth crisis taking place in New Zealand. The documentary is very dark genre as it is exposing the truth about addicts, how they feel, and what helped them.

The structure of the documentary presents various aspects of characters experiencing the meth crisis, and how the perception of the illicit drug affects the community. In the beginning we are introduced to two former addicts, where one of them still is recovering. They both share their perception of the meth crisis, and how they acted throughout their dark times as a drug abuser (04:20-06:25). Later, we meet one of the meth manufacturers, who is supplying the population with these narcotics (09:16). However, he explains too, why he choose this outlaw role of profession in the meth crisis with saying “Power, control, money and greed is all meth is(09:16-09:19)” and how he experienced the strength and influence the dope had on the community. Finally, the aspect of the police department, and professors’ perspective is implicated, to make a final comprehensive view of the crisis.
