New York, New York: Drømme og forventninger

We know it from Friends, Sex and the City, The devil wears Prada and so on. The big apple, the city that never sleeps, the melting pot, New York. I’m almost completely sure that every girl has that sex and the City dream or at least, has thought about it.

‘’Right through the heart of it’’ When I think about New York, I think of all the storefronts, the yellow caps, the crowded streets and the big lights. And like Alicia Keys sings: ‘’No place in the world that can compare’’, I do not think that anything can be compared to the city. I think that the city is amazing, because there is space for everyone, who would like to be a part of the big community, rich or poor, adult or child.

New York, New York’’ When I was a little girl and first was introduced to ‘’the City that never sleeps’’, I would die to grow up in the city from all the big movies. I have caught myself thinking about taking the trip to New York, and never come back, a million times, and one day I hope that this little girl dream, I have thought about so long, will come true. Maybe not that part with never coming back, but just take a short ‘’Sex and the City’’ look alike trip. The city has so much to offer, and my biggest dream is to feel all that combined. The people, the attractions and that feeling of being a part, of something bigger.
