Ansøgning om gap year i New York

I’m writing this email because of my interest in a gap year abroad. I have been on your website and read all the different recommendations and stories from other students, and I’m very excited to get my own story to tell when I get home, if my application gets approved that is.

My name is [NAVN A] and I’m sixteen turning seventeen in March. I live in a rather small town called Haverslev, but at the moment I study and live in a sort of a boarding school close to Frederikshavn. My family consist of my dad Ian, my mom Eva, my two siblings Silje and Silas, and of course myself. I have never really struggled with speaking English because my dad has always spoken English to me. My dad is from an island in the Scottish Hebrides called Lewis, my grandma lives in Portugal, I also have an uncle and three cousins that live right above the Scottish border in a rather small town called Duns. Therefore, I speak quite a lot of English when my family and I, are traveling and visiting family and friends. I think that it will help me abroad, that I’m quite familiar and used to listening to the English language.
