We have to be at the airport tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. I can’t wait to meet some new friends, who are just as great to be around as my current friends are.
But what if they don’t like me? I am afraid of being hated, and of being alone, so I really hope that they are nice in Miami! What if they think I am weird, or what if they already have friends and there is no place for me? I have also thought a lot about school and the Teachers: Are they tough, lenient or even sweet? Do they accept me for being new or would they be hard on me from the first day? The homework will be much harder because it is all in English, so I have to learn quickly, or I will fall behind.
It is strange that my friends can drive a car in Denmark at the age of 18, where as you can drive at the age of 16 in America. It is illegal to consume alcohol before you are 21 in Miami, and I think it's a little weird to think about. At home I can drink alcohol, but in Miami, I am forbidden to. I am sure, however, that we will make do with what we have.
