I am writing to you to give you some information about my school. I this letter you will find information about, The location of the school, timetable and subjects, tradition and special projects, rules and regulations, dress code, homework, and some other stuff. The school is located in Mogenstrup, that’s a small town with very nice people. The school is sort of close to a big city called Naestved, its about 10 kilometers away so that’s not so much and close from the school there is a bus that you take into the city for only 14 Danish crones. You have to meet up at school at 8 am, and you are done with your classes from 1 pm to 3 pm and the little kids often are done at 12 am.At our school in the 9th grade we have the following lessons: German, Danish, geographic, biology, history, and my two favorites, Gymnastic and Mathematic.Every morning the kids and teachers gather in one big circle, and then we sing some songs, that we had chosen the day before. In the 9th grade we are having a special project that we call “The Project” this year the head subject is conflicts, and then the students in my class and the other 9th grade class have to choose something to write and make a presentation about. The thing we write and make a presentation about must relate to the head subject. One of the rules we have is that we are not allowed to leave the school area, and that’s really annoying, because if you are hungry then you can’t go down to the store to buy some food. The other rules are very ordinary and I think it’s the same rules like on every other school, like you can’t play football inside, you are not allowed to sit on the tables and stuff like that, which I consider as common knowledge. We don’t have any dress code which I think is stupid, because some kids make fun of the others kids if they don’t have money to buy fashion cloth. So I would like to have a dress code where we all were wearing tie and nice clothing, but we don’t.
