I agree with the Author of this text. We are told every day, from our televisions that stress is something to fear, without even realizing, that the TV is making the dreaded stress. Everyday Danes are rushing, because they’ll have to make sure to get to a certain destination, at a certain time. I think we should be weary of this, when we read our television is on, when we run we hear music, when we socially interact we use the internet, when we relax our television is on, and we hear music. I’ll admit I can’t multitask, if I read and saw TV at the same time I wouldn’t understand either of them. I once wrote an essay while I was seeing a show on TV3. This turned out being the worst essay I ever wrote. But of course there are advantages in our technology. For an instance: it isn’t necessary to go shopping anymore. You can do it on the internet. It isn’t necessary to rent movies anymore. They can be rented on the internet. So there are advantages, and think about the countless advantages the computer has made for humanity. When I ride the bus, take a walk, run. I always listen to music. Listening to music makes the trip a lot easier and more enjoyable. I think I’m tricking myself, when I’m running without listening to music, my performance is reduced quite a lot, but when I turn the music on. It feels like adrenalin is kicking in my system. I never listen to music on my room. I can’t really give a reason for it I just doesn’t feel like listening to music on my own room, but when I’m outdoor I often listen to music. You can say, that my needs for music are covered. Sometimes I sit on my room without any music, just sitting there is quite relaxing, but I find it extremely boring. I know that, by sitting and doing nothing I reduce my chances of getting stress, but as a lot of other young people. I know that stress is just a part of life. I know that it isn’t healthy and it is destroying you’re ability to concentrate and focus, so I’m trying to avoid it as good as I can
