The bushfires in 2009 were the most extreme in Australians history. They fire caused over 170 peoples life, and over 400 people got injured. Australians prime minister called it mass murder. Look like the nuclear holocaust On Saturday 7th February 2009 at 4:30pm, a range of bushfires took place in Victoria. The firestorm was so powerful that the heat was equaled about 500 atomic bombs landing on Hiroshima. The winds were in excess of 120kph. With flames over 100 meters high and temperatures over 1400 degrees, you could imagine how strong and dangerous the bushfires were. The fires consumed everything and everybody in its path. Many people died in their homes and other of the victims burned to death in their car as panic.
