Resumé af Charles Dickens' 'Oliver Twist'

Oliver had a very sad life in the workhouse, because they did not get enough food so all the people were very hungry all the time. One day Oliver asked for more supper, the master got angry and slayed him. Instead of getting more soup, he was sold to a random farmer. Lot of the times the family kicked him out on the street, and he had no places to go. Then he decided that he would walk the 70 miles to London. In London did he met a boy who invited him home with his friends. They were thieves. They showed him how to steal. One day two of the friends and Oliver Twist was stealing a handkerchief from a random stranger. Oliver Twist did not steal it he just looked how the boys stole it, suddenly accused a man that it was Oliver Twist that had stolen it. He was sent away to a city called Penton Ville. To a man that should take care of him. The boys in the house decided to find him, so they did. They took him home again. He tried to flight but got caught again. The boys got angry and sent him to Bill their master. Bill threatened Oliver with if he tried to do something again he would kill him. Later Oliver, bill and Bills friend decided to steal from one of Oliver’s good friends, the man who took care of Oliver. Oliver was forced to do it. Oliver was the smallest of them so it was him that should go in to the house thru a window, and open the door. When he came in to the house he decided to ran up to his friend, Bill got angry and shot him in his arm. They took him fast and ran away. Bill was going to kill him, and right before Oliver got killed, did bill fell down and landed in some water, Oliver got away with a bullet in his arm.Next day came Fagin in to Oliver Twist’s room and talked with him about some useful things to know.
