Introduktion til dansk efterskole

Hello Amy. We are looking forward to se you in Denmark. In this letter I’m introducing you to our school.

Our school is located in the countryside. It’s an old farm that’s been rebuilt to a school. The school is also located near a small town, called Bramming. We are often buying snacks in Bramming.

The day starts at 6:45 AM. It starts with us running or walking 1,2 km. It’s tough in the start, but you’ll get used to it. When we’re done running there’s breakfast. The breakfast exists of Corn Flakes, and Oatmeal. The lessons start at 8 PM. 9:25 AM there is a gathering with all the students, where we talk about God. Then we watch the news. There’s lunch at 12 AM. Be prepared for the food that the kitchen makes. I hope you like vegetables in all foods :-)

When the clock reach’s 5:20, we have to clean different areas on the school. You’ll get an area to clean when you arrive. There’s dinner at 6 PM. We can do what we want until 9:45 PM. We have to go to bed at 10:30 PM.

We have some traditions on our school. For example, every year we have some concerts. The biggest concert is called Gallakoncert. We are performing this concert, at the end of the year. There’s also the Musical. That’s also one of the biggest events every year.
